Mbox 2 Micro comes with award-winning Pro Tools LE software, enabling you to open, edit, and mix your existing Pro Tools|HD-, Pro Tools LE-, or Pro Tools M-Powered-created sessions in high-fidelity audio. Play back sessions with up to 24-bit/48 kHz high-quality audio, and enjoy access to the wide range of professional Pro Tools plug-ins and virtual instruments available (for higher sample rate Pro Tools|HD sessions, be sure to down-convert the sessions using your studio setup prior to using Mbox 2 Micro). Mbox 2 Micro even supports Music Production Toolkit and DV Toolkit 2 options, enabling you to work on larger projects (up to 48 stereo tracks) while on the road.

Music creation - anywhere!
While Mbox 2 Micro is an output-only audio device, it also serves as a simple music creation studio thanks to the included Pro Tools LE software, bundled software, and wealth of compatible virtual instruments and plug-in options available.
