The Blue Sky MediaDesk 2.1 desktop monitor system are speakers optimized for computer-driven audio recording and production. Easily expandable to a 5.1 monitor system with the MediaDesk 5.1 upgrade, MediaDesk 2.1 incorporates two ultracompact, 2-way satellite speakers, each featuring a high-quality 4" driver and a 1" tweeter, along with a dedicated 8" powered subwoofer and Bass Management System.

MediaDesk speakers can be easily upgraded to a space-efficient 5.1 multi-speaker system with the 5.1 Upgrade, which includes three more satellites, the amplifier/control module, and the 5.1 Remote.

I use them for everything Mixing, Mastering, Video production. Everything sound right coming out of my studio I don"t need to take my mixes to the car anymore. The sweet spot on these monitors is not big but at 85db these are fabulous monitor at any budget . I am listening to them as I write this and after 4 years of mixing on these speakers I still love them

P.S If these monitors don't work the way you need them to you need ( IK- ARC ) this software will conditioner your room phase, timing, everything, it will make your room very close to perfect for listening to mixes (only for mix down) I don't use this software but ARC is what I would use if I needed correction in my room

I own a set which I use for post-production audio. The highs are crisp, the mids are clean, and the low-end sounds well-balanced. Mixing down on these are pretty accurate. Skywalker Ranch uses Blue Sky monitors in their studios and now I know why... quality.
